Funny enough, our story started on an ordinary day after classes at MGIMO - when I didn’t even want to go anywhere.
After classes, I was ready to go home, but my friend convinced me to stop by Monte for “just a little while.” So we went.
She saw some friends and said, “Come on, let’s go say hi.” I barely knew anyone there. I was completely in my own world that day, not particularly interested in meeting anyone new.
We stayed for maybe two minutes. I said hello, met a few people… and left.
At the time, you were just one of the people I had met for two minutes. Or at least, that’s what I thought.
A week later:
“Why aren’t you answering that guy?”
My response?
“What guy?”
Turns out, you had been messaging me on Instagram. And I hadn’t even seen it.
Eventually, I found your messages sitting somewhere in my requests.

sent you a message
Did I answer immediately? Of course not.
For the next couple of months, my communication skills were truly impressive. One reply a week. Sometimes one every two weeks.
And somehow… you didn’t give up.
Eventually, something changed. One message became a conversation. Conversations became longer. Then came the first flowers. The first dates. The first moments that actually started to feel like us.
And somewhere along the way, the guy I barely noticed for two minutes became someone I couldn’t imagine never having met.
All because I agreed to stay out for “just a little while.”
